My top 5 cigars from 2009: 1. Padron 45th Maduro-hands down one the best cigars I have ever smoked. So much flavor and body from the 10yr aged wrapper. The burn and draw was exceptional with this cigar. Strong but refined, a must for any humidor.…

My favorite would have to be my first VSG I bought from the old Carolina Place Mall Tinder box back in 01. It was the Corona Gorda size. It was such a great cigar, that I have been hooked on VSG's ever since then!

For me, it was the La Flor Dominicana Mysterio #1. Most interesting and flavorful smoke I have ever had. Wife and friends said I was smiling from ear to ear while enjoying it.

1926 Padron No. 6 Maduro

Pre-Burn: Dark, oily wrapper with few veins. Slight box press.

First Third: Starts off with a kick of spice then mellows. This cigar has an easy draw.

Middle Third: Some initial spice is lost in the middle but the flavor does not desist. Instead of spice, one can also taste bits of creaminess.

Final Third: Spice returns yet not overbearing. This cigar can be smoked down to the finger tips.

Overall, phenomenal cigar with a great flavor complexity. One of my personal favorites and certainly de… Continue
